Using barcodes #
To use barcodes, make sure you have activated the “Barcode reader” module.
To generate and print barcodes, in addition to having activated the “Barcode reader” module, you must also have activated the “Barcode generation and printing” module.
The use of barcodes makes it possible to find items AND customers more quickly
- You can use barcodes to search for products.
→ To do this, press “Search” from the main screen and scan your product
- By using barcodes, you’ll also save time when stocking up.
- Go to “Stock” (accessible from “Stock” in the side menu)
→ Make sure you have activated the “Stock” module
→ Make sure you have activated stock tracking for your product (product creation form).
- Make a stock movement, press “Search” and scan your product
- This is then reassembled and all you have to do is select it.
In your settings menu, you have a “Printer settings” tab.
On this tab you can modify the settings of your barcodes
To enter a barcode on an item :
- Go to the product creation form
→ Or click on “Edit” if you wish to modify an existing article
- Scroll down to “Barcode” and press “Generate barcode”.
- Your product now has its own barcode
→ You can still modify it
1 barcode corresponds to 1 product
Note: 1 product can have several barcodes
- If you wish, you can also “Print barcode”.
→ To turn them into labels
- Press “Save”.
