What is this tab for? #
It allows you to edit your articles and categories.
You can also create new articles and categories, and of course duplicate or delete them.
It will also be possible to link an existing product or category, as well as unlink it.
For example, if you’re a restaurant and you offer seasonal dishes, you can untie your winter dishes when you decide to serve summer dishes (which doesn’t eliminate them) and thus sort through your buttons.
And when you decide to serve winter dishes again, just tie them up and you’ll have your buttons back!
Once you’ve started creating a product, you’ll be taken to the item creation form. From here, depending on the modules you activate, you’ll be able to do a number of things.
Without activating any module, you’ll already have access to “Receipt”, “Product button details” (to customize your buttons), “Prices and VAT” and “Product details”.
The same applies to category creation, where you can complete the form by adding modules. In the meantime, here’s what you can do with the “basic” version.
You can define the name of your category, choose its type (whether it’s a main category or a sub-category), and customize the color of your buttons (and even add photos).
Modules affiliated with article creation #
First, there’s the“Item family” module, with which you can create item families to group them together for statistical purposes.
By activating this module, you can add a family to a product.

In particular, you can use this module to group your items into a “family”, so that you can sort them and find them again more quickly.
For example, you could have “Starters”, “Dishes” and “Dessert” categories, as shown below.
Then there’s the“Article pack” module. With this module, you can create groups of existing products while destocking them individually.
By activating this module, a “Pack” line will be added to the product creation form.

There’s also the“Formulas / Menus” module, which lets you edit formulas to suit your needs / with the option of working with starters, main courses and desserts.

“Barcode reader“This module can also be found in the product creation form. With this module, you can add items by beeping the barcode, without having to click on a checkout button.
